A small, white plate decorated with gold trim around rim. Three groups of pink flowers and green leaves inside edge and one group of similar flowers in centre. Flowers may resemble apple blossoms. There is a maker's mark: "H & Co / L / FRANCE. Painted text on bottom reads "L.S./'99". China was bought as blanks or white ware [no decorator's mark; only maker's mark] and then hand painted by Lois Slater.

The inside border has a larger group of berries (red-orange and green) and a smaller group of green berries. The handle in centre is painted gold and is like a branch and vine. There is an opening along the edge (for spoon) approx. 1.5 cm deep x 1.2 (h).
