X994.1.2 - Snip, Sheet Metal
From the William Major Farm, Lot 26, Concession 5, Pickering. Made of forged steel. Two matching arm and jaw sections are held together with a nut and bolt. Remains of red paint in the grooves of the handles indicate they may have originally been painted. Jaws were covered in dried mud when donated. Mud was removed and a light coating of oil added to inhibit oxidation.
