Object Name Thimble
Description A metal cylindrical thimble. The bottom edge has a rim turned outward. there are lines etched around bottom underneath the border. Dimpled sides. To top. The dimpling allows better grip on the needle. The open top allows for better fabric control and is known as a Tailor's Thimble.
