Object Name Pipe, Smoking
Description Peace pipe- unfinished pipe bowl. very rough, uneven, marks and designs not complete. A pipe at this stage was most likely a child's attempt or practice. Peace pipes used in ceremonies, used to smoke "medicine" (tobacco). Very personal artifact, when owner died their pipe would be broken and buried with them.
