Description - very plain dark wooden chair
- three spindles support back (one is broken)
-seat is one piece of wood
- legs are all joined by cross spindles
- Chair style: rod-back KP (source: All About Ontario Chairs by Elizabeth Ingolfsrud)
- the straight back indicates it was factory made, and representative of the mid-19th Century KP (source: The Heritage of Upper Canadian Furniture by Howard Pain)
- the rod-back or spindle-back chair was popular long after the arrow-back style faded out of fashion (Ingolfsrud). KP
- no similar examples on eBay (Dec. 2014) KP
