Object Name Stem, Pipe
Description Pipe Stem- Heavy, with large hole. smooth, mouth piece chipped. Pipes used in ceremonies, used to smoke "medicine" (tobacco). Very personal artifact, when owner died their pipe would be broken and buried with them. Stems often built short for strength. Stems baked with a stick inside to stop the hole from collapsing.
