Description Sepia photograph of Aldershot Camp, Nova Scotia in the summer of 1918. Photo features two soldiers in front of a wood and canvas building. Forest in the background. Clothes are hanging on a makeshift clothesline.
One soldier believed to be G.H. Wideman as the photograph came in an envelope with a letter from him.
Camp Aldershot wwas located just outside of Kentsville, Nova Scotia. It opened in 1904. Thousands of Canadian soldiers were trained there prior to going overseas.
